A platform that converts calories burned exercising into life-saving nutrition. We are using technology to connect two growing and opposite global health concerns in a way that helps to solve them both. GET PEOPLE MOVING: People are overweight and sedentary, lacking the motivation to work out. Burn to Give inspires people to be active and healthy by making giving back simple, direct and fun! HELP WORLD HUNGER 11% of the world’s population is hungry and every 9 seconds a child dies from malnutrition. For every tracked calorie burned a caloried is given to a person in need!

¿Quienes somos?

I’m a Chilean engineer, turned banker, turned entrepreneur, turned triathlete. I’m a 2x Ironman 70.3 World Champion runner-up (AG 35-39, years 2016 and 2017), 2x Ironman Kona finisher (PB 9hrs 09min), sub 9-hour Ironman and sub 4-hour Ironman 70.3 finisher, and multiple Ironman and Ironman 70.3 AG champion. Since graduating college, I worked for 10 years in Wall Street as an investment banker and 5 years ago decided to quit my job to focus all my energies on social change and making an impact in the world.

¿Por qué estamos haciendo esto?

In early 2014 I left New York City to go spend some time volunteering in Africa, as a teacher for elementary school children. We would give our students a small meal made and I shortly realized that for more than half of my students, this was the only food they ate in all day. In 2016, I qualified to represent Chile at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships. For my surprise, I finished this race in 2nd place of my age-group. In 2017 I repeated this feat, becoming a 2x Ironman 70.3 World Champion runner-up. Burn to Give is a project that was born by connecting the dots throughout many of my life-experiences, and concentrates everything I love and am passionate about. On one side, exercising and leading a healthy and active lifestyle.
